Cugini Perugia 96

Cugini Perugia 96, a new rising U9 Boys team, is holding tryouts June 20 and 21 at Baron Cameron Park, Reston, Field # 6, 5:00-7:0pm  for 3 open spots for the Fall 2005 Season. After June 21, tryouts by appointment only if spots remain. AC Cugini, an Italian scuola calcio (soccer school) and club whose teams practice in Reston, is sanctioned by the Italian National Olympic Committee and the Italian Soccer Federation (FIFC). Scholarships available. The school's focus is on the long-term development of each player according to highly successful Italian training methods. The team is coached by Tim Flewellyn and professionally trained year round by Cugini President Fabio Diletti, a former semipro player in Italy and professional scout. The team receives additional training from UEFA  "A" licensed instructors and talent scouts from Italy in Virginia in Summer. All team members have the opportunity to also train in Italy as part of the club's Thanksgiving coach and player training in Rome program as well as participate in Cugini's annual Soccer in Italy program each June, which recently won an award from the Italian National Olympic Committee.
