Developmental travel team forming for U9 girls with birthdays from Jan. 1, 2010 - Dec. 31, 2010.
What to expect:
League play will be ODSL, 16 games per calendar year, 2 (1.5 hr.) practices per wk. during season, 4 to 5 local driving tournaments per year. Offseason will consist of 1 practice/scrimmage every 2 weeks. Players are encouraged and required to play other sports during the offseason to continue their athletic development.
Cost per player:
VYSA, League & Club fees, Insurance, Tournaments, Coaches/Trainers stipend and (1x) Team uniform (Kit). Estimated startup first season fee per player: $600 ; Estimated second season fee: $450 and their after.
John Elliott, 20 year women’s travel soccer coach with multiple teams, club affiliations with BRYC and FPYC, age groups range from U9 thru U19. Va. State D license and USSF Referee. Notable achievements; U18/19 team consisted of 22 players from 14 different high schools from Arlington, Fairfax and Loudoun counties as well George Mason Univ. this and other teams helped to produce 10 varsity college athletes, numerous college club athletes, 2 Va. State cup appearances, numerous championships and finalist placements in tournaments and league play. Other head coaching experience includes; 10 years youth basketball, 4 years youth football and 6 years rec. soccer.
